After the meal: a taste for excess, was a video and photographic installation with Pascale Gomes-McNabb and James Morgan and Amanda Morgan that was situated within the collection and Victorian mansion of Mr Johnston in East Melbourne. Each room used objects and furniture from the collection as a site to recreate eight meals consumed by Mr Johnston over a day. The meals were by Shannon Bennett, Chui Lee Luk, Karen Martini, Neil Perry, Nicolas Poelaert, Pierre Francois Roelofs and Brent Savage and the Food and Wine festival 2012.
