Das KAPITAL invited artists to address the concept of creative capital in a former bank. Traditionally tangible, money and art have become data, code and light. The works were ephemeral, featuring large-scale video projections, AR via QR codes, and holograms suspended in mid-air, which explored how value is attributed to virtual exhibits. Bringing together a group of emerging and established artists, it was envisioned to attract a diverse audience into the heart of the Stonnington retail precinct. The Stonnington Arts and Culture Grant supported the technology for the exhibition and the production of the catalogue, designed by Karen Ann Donnachie & Andy Simionato, with an essay by Ashley Crawford and poster and logo, designed by John Warwicker.
