Impermanence no.8 (ephemeral city), 2013, is a short film which documents a journey by sea to the ephemeral city of Delos (Greece), viewed through a porthole . The site is known for its exquisite public artworks, monuments to Dionysus, and as a birth place to the Gods of light. First occupied in 3000bc, the site was a major cultural centre and port for Greece and Rome. The entire island is now uninhabited and is an ancient archeological ruin.
