Impermanence (no.9) is a continuous 60 second sequence, with no digital effects, post production, or cuts. The work investigates concepts and techniques about structures, movement and the psychological, which connect us to both Architecture and Film. Evans Department of Psychology University of Houston. Amanda Morgan is an Australian visual artist who has exhibited throughout Australia, Asia, and America. Morgan's oeuvre, which spans over twenty-five years, encompasses light, architectural projection, video, and site-specific installation. She received a BFA with honours from royal Melbourne institute of technology in 1993, and an MFA in spatial projection and video from faculty of VCA, Melbourne University in 2002. In addition to her solo practice, Morgan collaborates with local artists, architects and performers, and has exhibited in international exhibitions and festivals in Europe, Australia and Cuba. Morgan has curated and directed projects with community arts organizations including Warlayirti Artists Aboriginal Corporation (WA), Channel 31 educational television (VIC), and Conical (VIC). Morgan has been the recipient of international prizes, grants and residencies. She has lectured in Fine Art and Design since 2000 and currently tutors in the faculty of Architecture at Melbourne University.
